- In "Strange Frequencies", Lydia, Malia, and Scott all experience frightening hallucinations brought by the Dread Doctors. Lydia hallucinates having her tongue ripped out of her mouth by Tracy Stewart, Scott hallucinates being choked to death by Kira Yukimura (Kitsune), and Malia hallucinates being stabbed through the neck and arms through the floor.
- Purple wolfsbane causes intense and terrifying hallucinations on Werecoyotes.
- Lydia suffers chronic hallucinations after bitten by Peter Hale throughout Season 2 in order for him to come back to life.

- Stiles has a flashback of a repressed memory of his mother attacking him as a result of her dementia causing her to develop a very strong case of paranoia and dissociation in Required Reading.
